Southeastern's course faculty collaborate on every clinical placement and approve each preceptor, and the graduate coordinator reviews them before the course starts. What falls to you is the choosing: a preceptor in the right population, licensed in Louisiana, at a facility that has or can sign a contract with the university, and willing to take you for 200 to 275 hours in a semester.

Southeastern's DNP page says students choose their preceptors and facilities, and the MSN consortium's handbook has students propose a preceptor to course faculty, who approve it. Faculty help and the consortium can recommend preceptors it knows. We do the finding for you.

What exactly do you do for a Southeastern student?
